@dugartogo @SallyStrange and floods, fires, melting ice, hot seas etc etc..but sadly think food shortages and crop failures will be a factor soon. Excellent article from Dan Saladino here about how precarious our food chains are. His book is an interesting read and bleak at times but similar to there are some really positive food stories around varieties, protein from bacteria, permaculture and some extraordinary people championing proper food. theguardian.com/books/2021/sep

Blimey... Just finished reading a strangely positive book in spite of many grim examples of incidents. First chapter describing a incident in is extraordinary.. sadly suspect we'll be seeing similar heat related stories and deaths in the real world soon.

Really amazed that with all this talk of in there has been almost no mention at all of the . This is the temperature where people become unable to sweat to cool down. It's related to humidity but next few days these will be a real issue particularly in tourist areas of and . The first chapter of gives a graphic description of a event in .. not an easy read but sadly a taste of things to come with . This graph show the risks from temperature and humidity.
