2457294.07212: #CalciteSprings is a colorful #hydrothermal feature below #BumpusButte, just downstream of #TheNarrows on the #YellowstoneRiver, close to the #TowerGeneralStore. The springs are named after the milky-white calcite that dominates the area.

Today as our last full day in #ZionNationalPark we did #TheNarrows - a water hike that goes for miles. We did just over two miles out before turning around and by the time we did, the water we were hiking through was close to freezing. Glad we rented gear for the hike.
