Finally watched #ThePowerOfTheDog, written and directed by Jane Campion, on #Netflix.
It's an incredibly beautifully shot film with subtle and powerful acting all around. A slow burn that leads to an inevitable ending, though the plot doesn't take a direct line there.
My one criticism is that it was a bit too slow, with some shots lingering on the beauty of the landscape which could have been cut, or at least shortened because there were so many such scenes.
#ThePowerOfTheDog isn't really my kind of flick but my GOD, everyone in it is exceptional! Not one actor lets it down, Jane Campion is the Supreme.

"The Power of the Dog" - Jane Campion's come back movie is a hard but rewarding watch. Jesse Plemons is excellent, as is Cumberbatch
