It does distract me, but it’s not game-breaking or anything. I assume #BloodMeridian will be the same way, but this will not be my next read. I do already own it and it will eventually be read, but there’s others I want to read first, starting with #NickCutter’s #TheTroop, which has been on my reading list for years!

It’s not a read that is very eventful in any way, but it grips you from the beginning and never lets go until the bitter end.
While I enjoyed the book for what it is, this isn’t something I think I could read again. The story is intriguing enough, but this isn’t what I’d call a fun read.

Die große Stärke des Romans ist die kompromisslos radikale Grundstruktur der Dramaturgie. Die einzige Schwäche der Serie ist, dass sie dem adaptierten Konzept nichts nennenswertes hinzufügen kann. Die Kritik von #WolfgangMSchmitt trifft an dieser Stelle, meiner Ansicht nach, nicht zu. No vull suggerir res, simplement ho constato. L'home madur que protegeix la nena, el món postapocalíptic, els #caníbals, el viatge cap algún lloc i més coses que potser sortiran. Hi deu haver un component psicològic a tot això, encara que no el sé veure. Caldrà pensar-hi.
