Even though I deleted a #BookWyrm account because the number of users was starting to get overwhelming, I am thinking about joining a smaller #Romance BookWyrm instance so does anyone know of a small #RomanceLandia bookwyrm instance? I tried #TheStoryGraph and it was very challenging for me to consistently read reviews on there. On the other hand, I am now sharing my libby timeline, so I’m thinking, do I even need an account now that I frequently use/share my Libby timeline?

200+ day reading streak. And it's only a streak this short in the sense that it's 200 days I've registered it. And I guess 201 today.

I know that even before the beginning of this year I was reading daily for months if not the whole year.

But actually tracking it is a whole other skill. 😅

It's not connected to any Tech Bros, has apps and both free and paid accounts. You can import from Goodreads (Bookwyrm can do that as well), but it doesn't have any connection to the Fediverse. They have a Mastodon instance though, so perhaps they are looking into it

Does anyone know how #Bookwyrm works? Am I understanding it right that each server has their own booklist, and reviews? If so, are there any upsides to this that I’m not seeing? Seems to me this is one piece of software where you *don’t* want the content decentralised. If I’m looking up a book I’d like to see as many reviews as possible.

I really want to get off of #Goodreads and I’d love to move to the fediverse, but #TheStoryGraph is looking like a better option…

Sometimes I'm struck by the terrible realisation that I'm not nearly as smart as I think I am.
Using #TheStoryGraph to record how much I've read every day (for the January challenge) I've been annoyed that an ebook's number of pages very rarely are the same on the site as on my Kobo (obviously, with me changing font size etc).
I just discovered that I can record the percentage I've read instead of the number of pages.
My life just got a lot easier 😃

I created a StoryGraph account and started adding the audiobooks I've narrated, in the hopes that it will make your audiobook listening easier to track!
