@espen@fed.im I saw the 2009 film adaption of #TheTimeTravellersWife years ago and quite liked it.
Got a Norwegian translation of the book shortly after, but didn't get far into it as my vocabulary was too limited at the time. Have yet to give it another try, though I'll probably read it in English first now.

I thought this serial adaptation actually worked quite well; probably better than the film. Moffat certainly has some experience with this kind of out-of-order relationship story, because of River Song in #DoctorWho, and I was hoping for more than just 6 episodes...
Surely not a long running series, but two or three seasons should've been enough I think.

I wish #TheTimeTravellersWife series hadn't been cancelled... or at least had gotten another season to wrap things up.

To the person on my timeline who a few weeks or months ago wondered if #StevenMoffat would include /that/ scene of #AudreyNiffenegger's #TheTimeTravellersWife book into the HBO series:

With #StevenMoffat as showrunner of #TheTimeTravellersWife, I can't help but wonder how much he had already borrowed from #AudreyNiffenegger's book for #RiverSong's story arc in #DoctorWho, and how much he'll borrow in reverse for this series.
(Apparently the series got cancelled after the first season already though, so I guess not a lot for the latter.)
