Just finished watching #TheUndeclaredWar
Despite some weak acting here & there and some unnecessary or illdevoloped tangents, it is an engaging series at its core
😲🍿
The #cyberwarfare is represented visually in intriguing ways (gamelike landscapes and tools), so it's not boring as one might expect 👩🔧
The story is moving at times 🥺 and thought provoking for sure 🤔
I'd like to know what coders think of it 👩💻, but I'd suggest everyone using #socialmedia to watch it 😌

"The undeclared war"
The series follows two main characters, Saara Parvin in the UK and Vadim Trusov in Russia, during a cyber and misinformation attack upon the UK.
Hannah Khalique-Brown is Saara, but in the cast you could recognise Mark Rylance and Maisie Richardson-Sellers too.

I watched #TheUndeclaredWar and recommend it. Quite gripping. Good to see a Muslim woman as a main character with her faith being shown in the same casual way a Christian character would. A Muslim queer woman at that.
There is an autistic character that veers close to being treated as a autistic savage by the script, but then again the story is set somewhere this kind of person could thrive and therefore would be drawn to. It was lovely having a main character treating multiple neurodivergent characters with gentleness and kindness.
7/10 Streaming on Sky

Is #TheUndeclaredWar going to be full of these daft visual analogies for code? I've just started.

Really Annoying extended visual metaphor in #channel4's #TheUndeclaredWar of a character searching in real world locations as she actually looks at a load of assembler on her screen.
