CODA was one and it won 3 Oscars and 2 BAFTAs.
Another was The Quiet Girl, and it's now nominated for 2 BAFTAs and an Oscar.
The third was The Valet. It didn't get a cinema release to trigger awards attention. But it's on a par with the other two for me.

Recommendation: The Valet on Disney+. It’s one of my films of the year. Deeper than you would expect. And not a typical romcom. It has important things to say about treating everyone as people no matter their role. Plus it’s about making human connections. I love that film. It’ll be watched again over the holidays.
