Rewatching "The Watch" and though it had a few faults, it's still got the heart of Ankh-Morpork. Vimes' restoration, Lady Sybil kicks ass, and the rest of The Watch are wonderful.

And some of the lines are killer!

Which is to say I am in theory totally okay with wildly different adaptations of things I love. I am in the teensy tiny #GoodOmens unproduced movie script fandom.

But also #TheWatch and #USGhosts and the #JemAndTheHolograms live action movie never existed in my personal reality so it's okay to ignore them.

Re that #TerryPratchett interview post I just boosted, it's interesting to read the comments about #TheWatch from back then, given how Rhianna was talking about it by the time it actually came out. I'd be intrigued to hear what the exciting casting news that was supposed to be happening actually was.
