A solid season two opener. Wonderful to see the expanding cast of characters make it from book to screen.

Interesting to see how they're adapting #TheWheelOfTime to screen too. It's very much its own show, while still keeping to the spirit of the novels.

Finished a rewatch of #TheWheelOfTime of season one. A much stronger season on repeat viewing. Great worldbuilding and the deviations from the book mostly work - particularly when you know what is coming.

NO SPOILERS! Season 2, episode 4 of #TheWheelOfTime gave us a little Jane Austen in a fantasy setting vibes. Two acclaimed British actresses, in wonderful dresses, acting scenes about family, money and legacy, then shifting to discuss a man that one is obsessed over, all while having tea.
Both actresses have been in Austen adaptations, btw.
So Jane Austen and her works are part of the Pattern 😁

I wasn't expecting the feels in ep 2 of #TheWheelOfTime. My happy thumbnail face definitely didn't stick around through the whole reaction.

No explanations for Season 1 finale changes. Perrin's story is still the weakest. LOTS of changes from the #books. Like, is this even #RobertJordan's WoT?

I'm trying to keep an open mind, but still. At least it's a step up from Season 1 so far.

On the subject of look-alike celebs, got into an argument with a friend about 2 Zoe's. Lets get past the fact they both are called Zoe, but Zoë Robins (#TheWheelOfTime) could very well play Zoe Kravitz' twin sister. Also saw this striking resemblance between Emma Mackey and Margot Robbie, and in that case I was proven right when they cast Mackey as Robbie's little sister in the #Barbie movie

Having watched the first three episodes of #TheWheelOfTime season 2, I’m gonna say it’s very solid overall. Book changes aside, there are few things that aren’t clear how they’re playing it. Some good, some not. BUT it’s a noticeable improvement across the board from season 1.
Highlights:
- Pike, Robbins & Freeman for their acting.
- That is Mat Cauthon!!!
- The action scenes are much improved.
- Costumes, props and sets are all fantastic
- The Seanchan are properly terrifying!

Holy Hell! Watching #TheWheelOfTime season 2 for the second time since yesterday and it just hit me who Selene is! Just when she was telling Rand that she’s using him to remember someone else… OMG! What a great adaptation of the book this is turning out to be!

One thing I will say about the beginning of #TheWheelOfTime season 2…I spent much of the first episode figuring out who people are. Some of the actors have grown up quite a bit. That combined with new make-up looks required some extra effort to decode.

I found Mat the toughest.

Just finished #TheWheelOfTime season 2 episodes 1-3. I’m loving season 2. We actually have budding character arcs that will be compelling.

I continue to love Perrin’s inner wolf and hope we see it come out. Fun to see Logain reappear.

I love Nynaeve’s false awakening, although it calls the second exit into question.

I haven’t read the books, but I love how much lore is buried under the stories.

Season 1 of #TheWheelOfTime was plagued by production problems, most stemming from filming during COVID. Despite those problems, it was good & I enjoyed it. Season 2 is even better, and it's a shame that #primevideo didn't do a better job promoting it. If you like fantasy, you'll probably enjoy it.
