These holidays are called Uposatha days, and I enjoy observing them

I can never grasp the concept #emptiness It is very abstract concept to me. After I started reading Sutta and listening to Ajahn Amaro explanation on “Empty”, I start to understand it. It is not abstract. This dharma talk explained emptiness, empty, #nonself based on the southern school.

Spiritual communities often emphasise that the way to liberation and enlightenment is to give up your ego and your identity - your queerness.

This is not fair. In fact, it is a very subtle form of discrimination and rejection.

We need safe spaces and spiritual communities that support us on our journey as rainbow people.
