From here on out, #theseus2000 related posts will be in #Swedish as well as English. Also, the theseus2000 hashtag is being retired, meaning from now on, all English posts will be under the hashtag #T2000, and all Swedish posts under the hashtag #T2000Sv.

#theseus2000 V 3.2 is out now! This release includes a new certificate verifier tool, adds a bit more information to the about prompt, and works around updates not automatically applying for Windows NT 5.x users.

Certificate verifier has been implemented, taking the number of tools in the suite to 9! #theseus2000 #T2000
As per a feature request, #theseus2000 is getting an SSL/TLS certificate verifier. This tool will tell you everything you need to know about a website's certificate, including common names, issuer, issue date, expiry date etc.
I just found a rather embarrassing bug in the latest version of #Theseus2000. Hold on, let me fix it now!
Tada! Version 3.1 of #theseus2000 is out now! In this release, we say goodbye to Twitter integration, and hello to a new HTTP response code tool. If you have T2000 installed already, you can check for updates in the main menu. If not, you can download the program here https://www.seedy.gq/programs/theseus and yes, that tada was intentional for 3.1. :D #T2000
I've decided to bring back the speech output mode in this #theseus2000 build, implemented in a much better way this time. Also, the concept of 2 output modes has been scrapped. Instead, there will be an option to send all the program's output through a screen reader, which can either be enabled or disabled. This option, disabled by default, is labelled 'Pipe the program's output through a screen reader' #T2000
Can anyone recommend any good #Computing instances on #Mastodon I can use to promote and discuss my free networking suite for #Windows, #theseus2000? Preferably one that allows for multiple accounts so I can post both in my native #English and #Swedish. https://seedy.gq/programs/theseus #fedi #fediverse #T2000

I have a working build of #Theseus2000 3.1, complete with no Twitter support or speech output mode. Speech output mode just seemed to confuse people, and I'm not really sure how many people (if any) used it. And if you want to share anything to social media, almost every tool includes a copy to clipboard option which you're welcome to use. #T2000
I'm thinking about adding an HTTP status code checker to #Theseus2000. The idea being that you enter the URL of a website or page, either because you're having problems accessing it or just out of curiosity, and the tool will give you the HTTP status code returned by the web server, as well as what that code means and why the error (if any) could be happening.
With everything that's going on with the bird site right now, I've made the decision to remove Twitter support from #Theseus2000. This means you will no longer have the option to tweet your speed test results directly from within the program in V 3.1. If you want to share your results, simply use the copy option and paste to Twitter or any other site.
Work has just started on #Theseus2000 version 3.1. No major new features are planned in this version yet, but there will be a change to the way certain prompts are shown, such as speed test results, IP Geo data etc. Also, Theseus2000 will have the same version number in 2022 as #Windows did in 1992! #T2000
I want to transition the #Theseus2000 Twitter account over to #Mastodon, but I'm not really sure which instance to open the account on. My own instance died at the hands of its hosting provider, and I'm not sure if personal project accounts are considered 'brand' accounts. There will actually be 2 accounts. 1 for my native English, and another for the #Swedes.

Having released a new version of #Theseus2000 today, I got to thinking just how far the program has come in 1 short year. What started life as a buggy, crashy, unstable mess that required admin privileges for no reason and had a crappy menu system has gradually evolved into a sdeedy, reliable, fully featured networking suite that I can actually be proud of.
I just made a change to the speed test tool in #Theseus2000 so that it dynamically updates measurement units accordingly based on speed, I.E. it won't just use Mbps all the time. If your downloadd speed is 2.5 gigabits per second, it should now say 2.5Gbps instead of 2500Mbps; I need someone with gigabit internet to test this out.
