Just watched #TheBatman

Considering it as its own thing, without all the previous reboots, & ignoring the whole DCEU version and baggage it's not at all bad.

Bit of shame, DC had to do all the other stuff first.

Does it stand up to the Nolan trilogy, no, but one can't have everything. They can always make it an alternative world version like Marvel have done with their films. Bit derivative though, & a little late to the party, as usual with DC stuff.

So that's the series complete, not really got all that much else to say about it. Not even sure I'm all that bothered about what happens in the next age (series).

The back story reminded me of Oryx and Crake by Margaret Attwood, though having re-acquainted myself with the plot of that, I'm no longer sure why.

So, I've read #GideonTheNinth and #HarrowTheNinth and have just started #NonaTheNinth

First was ok, second was erm, and I really think I'll skip through the third to the end.

Here's hoping #Alecto improves and goes back to being as ok as Gideon. Though I'll be in no rush to read it.

Plenty of other books in my collection to read through.
