Ich habe lange darauf gewartet, jetzt ist es soweit: #AnnikaBrockschmidt hat sich ein Mastodon-Konto im Fediverse angelegt. Seit heute ist sie #NeuHier. Sie ist Historikerin und Publizistin und arbeitet schwerpunktmäßig zur Verbindung von religiöser und politischer Rechter. Sie hat dazu das Buch #AmerikasGotteskrieger geschrieben, in dem sie die gegenseitige Annäherung von religiöser Rechter und Republikanischer Partei in den vergangenen Jahrzehnten detailliert beschrieben hat. Zusammen mit #ThomasZimmer (@tzimmer_history) hostet sie den Podcast #KreuzUndFlagge. Neben ihren Fokus auf die US-Politik befasst sie sich auch mit rechten Phänomenen in Europa (und anderswo) und zeigt entsprechende Netzwerke auf. Wer sich für diese Themen interessiert, sollte Annika unbedingt folgen. Das wäre dann auch direkt mein heutiger Beitrag zum #FollowFriday.
