There is something fabulous and I would almost say superb in this Presentation of Jesus in the Temple, by Tintoretto, in the bright red color of the Virgin's skirt, in the perspective from which we see her (we below, she above), in the emptiness that surrounds her, in her absolute leadership.
She is the flame and the fire.

Different influences on Tintoretto's art can be seen in the picture: while the anatomies are Michelangelo-like, the vivid and intense colors are typical of the Venetian School.
In the left lower corner we can see a man who commissioned the painting.
