I remember seeing that #canetoad documentary decades ago. Great big toads brought to Australia to eat cane beetles, but that didn't really work. They just multiplied as an invasive species.
There is a scene where it is shown that the #toad will eat anything that moves and is small enough to gulp. A ping pong ball is bounced past a toad and it goes for it...
My worry is that we are the toads now and #AI will be an endless source of ping pong balls.
To be honest, if you haven't simply logged into the Chrome browser version you likely won't see a full menu here or have the full experience and controls
It's worth it, promise.
So.. this #toad might become more endangered or extinct if they build a #geothermal energy project at this location

@jimstewartson @astroqueen You guys... stop...
I would imagine we might be a bit entertaining at times though. You should have seen the exhilarating training on how to switch to the #toad server I just got! It was pretty great. and helpful.
Officially on the #toad thanks to @jimstewartson for all the hype. I will give it to him, the locals button thingy is much better. π
Wait... can I not tag people? lol
@MarcoI I just read an interesting post about the downsides of federation, including the idea that instance admins - not users - control who that instance federates with, which is not true decentralizion. This strikes me as correct and as having the potential for a lot of ingroup-outgroup political fighting. I posted the admin of my instance (#toad) to ask how the users know who has been defederated and will be very interested in how community decisions are handled on this instance....
