One of my favorite books of the years was "The Midnight Line" by Lee Child. It's a Jack Reacher novel. And in that book, Jack is portrayed as a being well-over 6 feet tall.

I also enjoyed both Tom Cruise movies, where he played an under 6 foot tall Jack Reacher.

But the current TV Jack Reacher, Alan Ritchson, was the best choice for playing Jack Reacher.

You can't go wrong watching the series or the movies.

So I was talking to a friend about #TomCruise’s career in #movies and how he now seems to just want to do cool things and #films are the vehicle in which he can so he makes them. This isn’t to say he doesn’t love movies which I think he truly does, but I look back at #PaulThomasAnderson’s Magnolia and Cruise in that and he is so open to the part, and so vulnerable at times in that performance and I feel like we have been deprived of that in his work.

So did #Apple really announce its answer to #Google Glass with an advertising page that looks like a scene from a Philip K. Dick novel starring #TomCruise?

I just watched "Top Gun: Maverick" for the 5th time since it's been released -- 2x's at the theater and 2x's on DVD -- today when I streamed it because it is currently being offered for free on the Peacock channel.

Still think it's a great sequel to "Top Gun" and I expect to watch it many more times in the years to come.
