(Don’t have android so can’t comment on it, but if it’s like Metatext (seemingly it is an equivalent) then that might help the user experience here)

1st some servers are more easier to search for then others. Mastodon.Green is a good one for search people

2nd Metatext is very limited in searches for people but otherwise good for posting. And reading. That’s why I’d recommend swopping between the two
