Ich hatte bei #JedenSamstagEinFoto ein ähnliches Bild veröffentlicht. Hier war die Lichtstimmung eine andere. Kamera: Fuji Finepix F200XR. Bild war wegen ISO 3200 sehr verrauscht. Mit #Topaz Photo AI entrauscht.

Two version of another shot from the Spain and the Hispanic World exhibition at the Royal Academy. This is a Roman bust (probably a copy of a Greek original).

This was taken wide open with the Mamiya 48mm f1.5 adapted from a broken rangefinder on my Sony A7iii. The first version is lightly edited in Lightroom - andthe second I put through #Topaz Photo AI - it's made a huge difference. Interesting!

Workflow: Scannen mit Epson Perfection V600 Photo und der Software #SilverFast 9. Ausgabegröße zwischen 40x60 cm und 80x100 cm. Files dann so um die 200 MB im TIFF-Format. SilverFast eliminiert schon etwas Staub. Noch vorhandenen Staub, Fleckenentfernung und Farbanpassung mit #Pixelmator. Export ebenfalls als TIFF. Import in #topaz Photo AI und dort Bildrauschen entfernen, eventuell nachschärfen und dann die Funktion „Recover Faces“ verwenden. Ausgabe dann als JPG.

Wie ich ja schon geschrieben habe, scanne ich alte Bilder, die ich noch im Keller hatte, ein und bearbeite sie. Hier ein Beispiel, was die heutige Software vermag. Ich finde es sensationell.
Bild 1: Ausschnitt von mir als Portrait im Alter von 4 Jahren, wie es ursprünglich nach dem Scannen vorlag. Sehr unscharf mit Flecken.
Bild 2: Ähnlicher Ausschnitt, nach dem Bearbeiten. Jetzt ohne Flecken und scharf.

#Topaz is a #pegmatite mineral, an #igneous rock known for its coarse crystallization. If you are on the hunt for gemstones, like tourmaline and beryl, a well-formed pegmatite is your first stop. This little beauty comes from the mountains of #Colorado and has a nice blue coloration. The chisel-shaped termination is a dead giveaway for topaz.

Habe mir Topaz Imaging Tools geleistet. Schon der Hammer, was das Ding aus einem 35 Jahre alten Foto rausholt. Ist von einer PhotoCD (ja, ich weiß, das kennen heute nicht mehr alle).

In einem 2. Schritt könnte man nun noch an den Farben arbeiten. Aber ich finde das Entrauschen & Schärfen schon cool!
