It's a friendly dragon's den style pitching event where local entrepreneurs can share their brilliant projects and anyone in the community can offer support, connections, investment and practical help. Hope it's a great event this evening!

I love the solstice: it marks the end of the year and the beginning of the next too. There is a moment of stillness, rich with all the beauty it holds for the seasons soon to spring forth.

It's the only winter holiday I celebrate. The others are all fakes.
