I tried to cover history and art and urban planning and protest movements and indigenous rights and hippies and how industrialists tell stories. I don’t know how much I got through but their teachers seemed to love it. so hard! my lowest moment was when two kids walked past me toward the photo opp. “I’m so BORED” said one to the other. passive aggressive much kiddo? #tourguide #portland

I'd buy vinyl & make tapes with the songs I liked & I'd always record the tunes so you'd think it was a continuous song. I learnt #beat, #tempo & #key matching. Slowly learnt how to mix on actual 1200's (#turntables).
It was on a trip, from #Nice, France to #Geneva where our #tourguide told me I'd be a great DJ.
I'll never forget her.
I owe my career to her words of motivation.
