Another game I tried is Eternal Kingdom Battle Peak. A few mmo riffing heavily on final fantasy. It is NOT optimized for #PS5. Uninstalled during the tutorial battle. Mouse controls are a no go on console.

#AxiomVerge2 was a PS+ game a bit ago. I like the series, but it takes the Metroidvania a bit too far imo. Getting stuck this early on sucks.

I decided I should try and go through some demos I've acquired. #FinalFantasy #Theatrhythm Final Bar Line. I have the...3DS? one. Fun series. Great music to get from. Might get if on sale.

Hmm...I enjoyed my time with #Destiny2 on #Stadia. I might actually consider getting a #SteamDeck if they get it to run Destiny. Of course, that would mean getting #BattleEye working on the Steam Deck.

So not so soon I suppose.

Well tonights been interesting.

After I got home, I played #GhostwireTokyo for several hours. I am still enjoying the game quite a bit, but im starting to get a handle on the scale of the game and the likelihood my finishing it dwindles.

After that, I kinda binged looking for photos of my current wallpaper rotation. Bianca Beauchamp is a fetish model that specializes in latex clothing. She's faurly tame, mostly pin ups, but definitely not something for work.

Well, I gave in and bought #GhostWireTokyo. Been thinking about it since my trial ended and its on sale. Enjoying it so far. And the story makes sense for there to be no people.

Though I'm unsure if sone of the graphical glitches are spirits, or Remote Play flaking out.

Hopefully I can get a good hunk done before Lightfall hits.n(February 28.)

Using my last day of #PlayStationPlusPremium to do some game trials. First up is #SteelRising. As I heard, its Souls-Like. I am not a fan of the whole genre. Died once and uninstalled.

I much preferred 7th gen action games over these 8th/9th.

I downloaded the #PSPlus app on my PC and it works CONSIDERABLY better? Like, why? Virtually no lag on streamed games. My PC is inferior to my PS5 and has wifi where as the PS5 has a cable.

Also R&C looks better. Might be the lower resolution and smaller screen?

Just so weird.

This is afar greater justification for PS+++ than what I experienced on my PS5 last night. Real shame the coupon was shitty and only gave me 21 days.

Further #PlayStation madness. Started downloading a bunch of shit to play, but my real test was the cloud streaming, as that's the "Premium" part.

Played #RatchetAndClank Future: Tools of Destruction. The game is...blurry. I don't know if that's being from the PS3 or the streaming. It's R&C though, which is good. Briefly played Heavenly Sword too as I heard good things back in the day. Not impressed.

So unless I get jazzed by something else, I'll stick to #PlayStationPlus Extra

Well #Sony screwed me out of getting #PSPlus Premium for $80. It's on sale atm. But to get it, you must upgrade first. So I got 40% off 21 days & the sale is spent.

I'm going to complain on live chat tomorrow, but we'll see. If that falls through, I'll cancel on the 1st & buy a 12 month card off of #CDKeys for a 17% discount. Apparently PSN prorates PS+ cards for higher tiers. So I can get Plus Extra for $14 off. Not $20, but it's something. That $20 might save me money too.

Unsurprisingly, Destiny 2 makes up the vast majority of my playtime. Gears 5 and Psychonauts 2 def need more love. I also am very much a console player, 73% of my PC playtime was with a controller too. And now that I've figured out how to use my Stadia controller with PC (USB-A to USB-C, not C to C,) I have a controller with better action.

SWTOR is a surprise at how high it is.

My Nintendo Year in Review for 2022!

This is less descriptive than PlayStation's, but still interesting.

Splatoon 3 I played heavily during launch. Bug Fables when I was in the waiting room during my dad's surgeries. Sinking City I got when I learned of Frogware's predicament. What the Golf? is just a fun game too.

Not near as much playing as my PS5 or PC, but still fun.
