Had an awesome time in #DisneyWorld, even though some five year olds should have their pilots licenses revoked for damage to the Millennium Falcon 🙄
Had a great front-row night ride on TRON lightcycle run, and enjoyed Cosmic Rewind. Neither new coaster was able to displace Hagrid's as my favorite immersive coaster though.
The original Tower of Terror still rocks.

Last weekend I had some friends over for playing some new card games. They started talking about #WDW so I saw it as a opportunity to talk about #TowerOfTerror.

I had just bought one of those fancy #50Anniversary #FunkoPop. Never thought it would made such a great model for explaining the ride system!

Of course, I don’t think they will bring #WDW again as a conversation topic while I’m around. They were interested at first, but I get carried away easily…

The #WDW ride that doesn't cease to fascinate me (and one featuring a unique ride system – no exact replicas elsewhere) is #TowerOfTerror.

There is a quite detailed schematic for the ride (kudos to Martin Smith), where we can appreciate the ingenious way they increased throughput by replicating sections – 4 auxiliary shafts leading to 2 main ones (where the drops happen), and actual vehicles that move between them, carrying guests.

Not so good for reliability though 😔
