Hi; I'm coming here from another fediverse (is that the term??) that was having some growing pains. I'm a Canadian artist, lefty, jumping ship from #ToxicTwitter and hopefully landing in someplace with people who have positive ideas for fixing a broken world.

I am anti-conservative (in today's incarnation), anti-cult (& pseudo-religious groups), science-believer (and vaccinated). Ummm.....dog lover, wife, mom, grandma (but not that old). Anything else? Ask.

@ColoradoPat @GovTrack I think you will find #ToxicTwitter type behavior here, such as trying to #troll people, is not acceptable. People who post in bad faith are moderated pretty quickly, either by individuals or by admins such as @SDF. Which helps to make this a great collaborative space for all.
