It’s my first #FansProject bot and I’m very impressed with the transformation, esp how the chest is moved along a rail from the front of the torso to the back in order to form the bonnet of the vehicle… together with the legs!

Finally got around to touching up #Takara Legends #UltraMagnus (the CW one, not legends scale!) with some panel lining and #Toyhax. He's def gonna be my #CHUG Magnus from here on out!

I was gonna go for the Perfect Effect core Magnus, but I'm much too happy with his #IDW-inspired looks and neat inner cockpit.

Probably gonna go for a Delta Magnus for actual legends scale, I'm keeping my eyes out for the MFT one.

Feeling very low on social energy this weekend and will probably skip some social events. Usually fine to cozy up alone at home but if the FOMO gets the better of me I’m thankful that I live close to a #Sverok tabletop club hangout space where I can plonk down, build some #gunpla or #Toyhax and if I DO feel up to it join in on a boardgame or two.

I’ve been curious about #Transformers #Binaltech for a while, so when Skids turned up I had to give him an go! Hard to believe he’s almost 20 years old. Fully detailed interior and interesting transformation engineering, though my favorite robot, #Toyhax:ed masterpiece Reboost here (actually a recolor of Skids), is unsurprisingly a lot less finicky and therefore more fun to handle.

(and yeah cars HAVE gotten bigger but here 1/24 vs 1/32 scale is to blame)

#Toyhax:ing at #SFBok. The local sci fi shop has miniature painting Mondays, though I usually bring either #Gunpla to build or #Transformers to detail.

I have yet to be thrown out.

Sunday hobby time, adding panel lines and #Toyhax decals to Legacy Cosmos. There were sooo many decals in this set, took a couple of hours. Worth it though.

Finally, Ultra Magnus has moved it. I just started reading the #IDW #Transformers comics, which this design is heavily inspired by. This Takara version more than most, with its (luscious!) red thighs and lots more painted details. Though why he comes with a super tiny Alpha Trion instead of a more comics’ accurate Ambus is anyone’s guess!

Can’t wait to #ToyHax and panel line him.
