So, the joy of commuting with the bike of #TransPennineExpress - leaving aside the joy of one staff member calling me 'old fella' and the other one thinking my name is 'Bradley' #OhHowILaughed - Locked bike cupboards are a shit idea on commuter trains, and #TPE seem to have a particularly shit design that means even low section wheels (albeit with Gravel King tyres) are hard to fit into the hanging space. all in all, a shit experience from a company that seems to not give a sh*t

God, this country is f*cked. I like to do hybrid commuting - cycling to the station and taking my bike on the train to my destination, where I bike to my office. It's a f*cking lottery. Friday morning my usual train has no bike spaces left, so I have to get the train before it, which means my ticket price goes up by 50%. 50% because we build trains with just two bike spaces, and couldn't organise a pissup in a brewery. #TransPennineExpress #cycling # commuting
