We have just published an updated version of our paper on the effects of local incentives for on car ownership decisions. The results show strong effects of road tolls and bus lanes (with privileges for BEVs) on the probability of BEV ownership.

In public debate about policies, it often seems like people can only adapt to transport policies by changing their mode of travel. But transport policies also affect trip frequency, choice of destination, vehicle ownership, where people live and work etc. /1

Wow! Car fuel consumption in Norway is down by 6.6 percent from Oct 2021 to Oct 2022. This is most likely driven both by high and increasing adoption. ssb.no/energi-og-industri/olje
