Lenticularis Icelandica
Huge lentoid clouds forming above Svรญnhรณlafjall (Pig Hill Mountain) in Hornafjรถrรฐur.
A hot August day - yes, they do happen in #Iceland - and a warm, moist breeze from the southern sea collides with the mountains surrounding Vatnajรถkull glacier, and is lifted and cooled. A leeward spin is added to the mix and lenticular clouds are born.

Sweet Scottish Summer
For #TravelThursday this week, this is Port Stoth, known locally as Stoth and pronounced Stow. It's a sheltered inlet just south-east of the Butt of Lewis in #Scotland, and is the most northerly landing in the Outer Hebrides.
If you look closely, there are three people on the right-hand side of the beach.
