For contrast, the same Tranvel Insurance would have no problem paying a decompression chamber at €700/hr with minimum of 12 hours...

After the trauma & frustration of being mugged, spending weeks getting all the documentation (literally had to run around to get it), then being given the wrong forms, then spending all the time filling them in (during Loadshedding in South Africa, and when I was meant to be on holidays), they don’t want to pay. Problem is I know that’s likely exactly what they want and have designed it for: for me to give up #travelinsurance

Taking your GHIC card with you and having full #Travelinsurance is essential - as we've found out (and don't go for the cheapest insurer - proper claims handling & support is vital!)
