I feel like #NikolaiDante would work as a #TacticalRPG in the vein of #FireEmblem, #FinalFantasyTactics, or #TriangleStrategy. The story will probably diverge at least a bit from the comic, since the great loss Dante suffers towards the end is amazing storytelling but not great for gameplay.

Might as well throw in a matchmaking mechanic, and Dante doesn't HAVE to end up with Jena.

The Kuso stuff is actually what helped set this apart from others for me.

I really like that it is turn based but it was the crazy, funny side quests and mini games that I saw in a video that made it a must buy for me.

I love serious and emotional storylines. Most recently #TriangleStrategy but I also love it when games have a certain kind of craziness and wackiness to them.

I think this game is just my kind of goofiness.

So I just got the optional character Decimal, in #TriangleStrategy.

This character is wild! They have a massive AOE attack but depending on which skill you use, it only damages enemies whose hit points are a multiple of 3, 4 or 5.

This character could be very OP but they do not recover TP normally. However, pairing them with Julio I bet they could be quite devastating.

Very interesting character...

Whew! I finally beat Chapter 16 of #TriangleStrategy !

THAT was a tough battle and took me longer than any other.

I had to rethink about how I use my characters and their abilities so I could cover more ground.

For instance, Flannagan has great movement being a Hawk Rider, but using his attack skill "Aerial Assault" after moving his full distance, let's you move quite a few more spaces even if you are not attacking!

I love this game!

I was convinced it was a translation spelling error until I looked it up. I've seen various Old English words throughout my life but never this one.

Just under 70 hours in and finally I have made it to the pivotal ''Chapter 15.'' I have not decided what path I am going to take yet.

I don't often replay long games anymore, so I'm sure it will be sometime before I come back to this title even though I absolutely love it.

I have much to consider before pushing on to the next chapter.

This tactical RPG has absolutely blown me away.

I was debating on promoting Roland in #TriangleStrategy

It shows that upon his promotion his Strength and Magic Attack will go up.

Does anyone have any idea why his Magic Attack goes up? He doesn't use Magic. He's a mounted unit that uses a spear.

Is this perhaps a bug? It's an odd and useless stat increase as far as I can tell.

He seems like he could be really good and has some great skills, but his movement is pathetic.

It doesn't matter how powerful a character is if they can't reach their target in time.

Is it worth putting the time in to build him up?

Wow. Not a single battle. Just dialog and story, but DAMN what a story it is! This is real #GameOfThrones stuff. The writing, story and dialog in this game are utterly superb!

Why can I NEVER remember to use my Quietus skills in #TriangleStrategy? Does anyone else constantly forget to use these?

The battle that I just won (barely) would have been much less painful if I could just remember to use my arsenal of Quietus skills that I have been stockpiling.

I think it's mostly an issue of ''out of sight out of mind''. It's tucked in a menu away from everything else.

I'm so used to playing #ShiningForce that I was waiting to promote my characters in #TriangleStrategy.

Apparently your levels do not reset like in the Shining games. So it sounds like there is no good reason to hold off promoting once they reach level 10.

Anyone know of a good reason to wait on promoting?
