I dropped off setting up #TriangleTootParty gatherings the past couple months. Too much on my plate. Thinking that September would be a nice time to get together again.

What are y’all’s thoughts?

#TriangleTootParty folks: what should we do about the impending meta threads federation? i’m kinda on the fence, mainly because i think that many new accounts/users is going to crush our server and drive the cost way up. also: meta has a long history of collecting data they shouldn’t and poor moderation due to the low mod per user ratio.

cc @Wizkid_alex, since he’ll have to deal with it on some level, too.

Question for mods: what's the reason we're not federated with mastodon.scot? Just saw a friend of mine has migrated there from the birdsite and would like to connect with her if that's open to review. #TriangleTootParty
