@straphanger Ooh, this one hits me straight on... has #TriMet ever grassed their tracks? I can't recall ever seeing 'em do it though I can think of a few places where it'd probably be rather welcome. Like waiting at any of the stations with a street address containing "East Burnside", the more stroady it gets, the worse it is. Waiting at East 182nd Avenue Station must be like trying to catch a bus in a sun-bleached Vegas parking lot right now with the heat wave they're having in #Portland

Good start, #Trimet, but better plan on getting trolley lines up soon unless you like losing half of the electricity you're pulling in charging loss and storage decay all the time. Battery vehicles are a stupid waste of electric on a fixed route service that you could very easily electrify.

@graue Have you looked at #OpenTripPlanner? That's what #Trimet is using in the Portland area for the same thing.

Trimet is currently accepting feedback about their proposed 2024 fare increase. Might be a good time to remind them that they could save a lot of money by getting rid of fare enforcement.
