@brassmusic Welcome to The Hathersage Band Wonderful World Of Brass Instruments. This week it's the return of the #Mellophone but in a different guise to my first favourite. It has a conical bore like that of the #euphonium and #flugelhorn . This particular one was made by Carl Fischer in New York and is a "Symphony" model. It is in the key of F, but comes with crooks in the keys of C,D & E. So absolutely useless in a #BrassBand unless you can read Bass Clef with the big #Trombones
