Any #Tulsa peeps have recommendations on where to get an alignment done on the #TruckSaga truck? It's shittylifted, so I'm aware it's not going to be totally correct, I'm just tired of squealing the right tire every time I turn left at a signal.
@DungeonDingo Yeah, the replacement for that truck was documented in the #TruckSaga when it was stolen; I had to get a shorter tent to fit that truck. I still have the tent for this truck on the *longest* shot I get it back at this point. And yes, unless it's absolutely beyond hope of being a daily driver, I would restore it again. Though probably pay someone to restomod the security system.
The explaination is... we recovered the #TruckSaga truck, went to #WildNights2002, parked it for the summer save for cleaning out the inlaws storage units after they passed, and just missed some crazy crap under the back seat...then since my husband's at work, I took it out of the mothball spot in the driveway to go get groceries and was like, "Damn there's a lot of shit in here still"
* A GMT700 based 4x4 pickup, shittylifted by a previous owner, with a Tulsa Police inventory number painted on the front and rear windows in paint pen (see #TruckSaga)
* Shitloads of broken window glass (still coming out of the carpet from #TruckSaga)
* An Avon Barbie still in the box
* A beanie baby still in the box
* A souvenir photograph from a tourist trap barbeque restaurant in Paso Robles, California

This chair, which was in the back when #TruckSaga began, and *somehow* still in the back when I got the truck back, did not survive only its second #WildNights. To be fair, it was new when #TruckSaga began and did sit outside in the bed of the truck for more than a year. #WN2022

Our campsite (left, with the green truck from #TruckSaga) before I had to move the whole thing when that part of the site flooded in the rain on Sunday. #WN2022
I need to get more details still but the latest development in #TruckSaga isn't looking to be a terribly satisfying one. More information to come.
Got the truck back from the shop. Replaced the struts with the same size that was already on it but I think I'm probably going to need to upgrade to longer ones. Managed to bunnyhop the truck getting off the BA Expressway on that weird pavement joint on the 21st Street exit. It's stiff from the lift the previous owner gave it and stiff because the struts are new. #TruckSaga
Another, different #TruckSaga tangent hit. Namely a $5500 repair bill for suspension and transmission damage. Looks like we're eating rice and beans for a while...
A wild development has appeared, though I cannot say more at this time. The saga continues. #TruckSaga
