Mehr möchte ich dazu nicht sagen. Davon abgesehen, #DerPass (#S03) evoziert beachtliche Stimmungsbilder, die mich auf verschiedenen Ebenen kriegen. Für mich (aus Gründen) eine der besten #Thriller Serien zurzeit. Düster - ich habe gewarnt! Enjoy. #ymmv

Großes Kino! Die letzte Staffel nenne ich in einem Atemzug mit #TrueDetective (#S01).
In hundert kalten Wintern nicht hätte ich damit gerechnet, dass so ein stimmungsvolles Bravurstück aus Österreich und/oder Schland stammt. Ich hoffe, sie vermasseln es nicht auf den letzten Metern! Musik, Schnitt, Schauspielende, Farben(!) , Sujets... Da geht richtig was.

Ich komme gerade immer mehr zu dem Schluss, dass #DerPass Staffel 3 zu meiner aktuellen Lieblingsserie avanciert. Die Dialoge sind teilweise messerscharf und/oder mehrdeutig. Das Szenario, die Bildsprache sind abgründig und atmosphärisch as fuck! Selbst der Musik kann ich etwas abgewinnen. Der Vergleich zu #TrueDetective hinkt, unterdessen hätte ich schlandigen Filmemachenden so ein Kabinettstückchen nicht zugetraut. Respekt. Mir gefällst!

The setting in Alaska references The Narrative of Arthur Gordon Pym of Nantucket by Poe - which was picked up by Ligotti. There's also a reference to the Carcossan circle / Yellow Sign in the trailer.
