Interesting video for all who are recording tube amps.
My ENGL doesn't really change when I crank the master volume to 12 o' clock compared to 9 o' clock. And I definatly don't need more loudness than that.

Had my amp shit out at practice weeks before our first show. I think it’s just a pre amp tube but the timing is fucked since I can’t practice till I repair it.

If anyone on here knows about , or in general, some help diagnosing the problem would be very useful. The amp is a fender super champ v2. It is tube powered. Turns on, but volume is completely drained. Oddly no signs anything was failing. Went from normal to almost no volume at all between this week and last without any crackling like you normally get when the tubes fail.

Took the line out to another amp and got sound at a normal volume but maybe a bit more distorted than usual. I think but can’t confirm that the line out bipasses the preamp section, making it likely it’s just the pre tube, but I can’t find anything on message boards about this. Any help to get this thing up and running so we can get practicing would be awesome.
