#TulsaTransit resumes fare collection today so expect that trend to just get wiped out in September.

It's 39°c with rain, popup thunderstorms in the area at #Tulsa. I bet the rest of the #TulsaTransit schedule is going directly in the trashcan at this point. #OKWX
I like how about 5 years ago #TulsaTransit tried to do this voucher program with #Uber for night and sunday service and the entire community was like "no, unacceptable" and absolutely did not buy into it?
Check out the night and sunday service coming up. The single digit routes aren't fixed route service, they're share taxis that you can either flag down like it's a taxi, call ahead or hail with the gopass app, and can change routes at subhubs or stations.
I was the only one who got on and it switched to being Arrivals Only after I boarded, which meant anybody who was waiting after I got on, just had two 130 Admiral services towards downtown in a row cancel on them. Which means people who just missed the one before that had been waiting an hour and a half for a bus by the time I passed them... Terrible performance due to underscheduling, #TulsaTransit... #Tulsa
#TulsaTransit be busy, 16:59 bus got delayed to 17:35, and the 17:30 bus got cancelled with the 18:00 bus showing delayed until 18:45, with 18:30 showing on time but I'm guessing it'll get cancelled, thus ending service for the weekend.
This #TulsaTransit not-a-job-listing seems sketch as hell and probably illegal in a few states.

The hilarious part is they think this is going to improve ridership. #TulsaTransit should check out the F line on the San Francisco Municipal Railroad. Nobody remembers their branding, they remember that if they just missed one train, the next one's only a block or two away.
#TulsaTransit running with the dust covers on the fareboxes for the next two months...not having to wait while people futz with getting a transfer or problems with the GOPass app... the fact it's ran predictably on time (give or take a traffic light cycle) is amazing.
#TulsaTransit is suspending fares July 1 to August 31 as a trial for ending fares.
@SoundTransit expects us to *pay* to ride their infernal machines.
Man the 140 line is showing 20+ minute delays today. I think #TulsaTransit just flat out decided to be @SoundTransit today.
And the 130 Admiral bus just fuckin ignored everyone trying to transfer from the 450 Yale bus. #TulsaTransit #TooFuckingHotOutForThis

For the first time in a while, I'm cautiously optimistic about a #TulsaTransit service announcement. Also I'm losing my neighborhood bus route in favor of microtransit, but this also does mean the return of transit service to Tulsa International Airport.
@Elizafox OK, this scans. The GTFS for #TulsaTransit was a hot fucking mess back then...I'm *slowly* getting the city (and state) to get this shit sorted to suck less; I'm one of the reasons USBR 66 now traverses Oklahoma and why MTTA finally got signposted stops.
@Strubbl I think #TulsaTransit is down to something like 3800 stops, all of which are supposed to be signed, though the GTFS still has some stops that don't exist, and there's a number of stops that do exist but are no longer served by a route.
@Strubbl I will give #TulsaTransit credit where due, given that they usually have to send mechanics (and pretty much everyone in the office that has a CDL with airbrake and passenger endorsements) out to have enough drivers to avoid cancelling services, have effectively no budget and have spent close to 3 years not charging fare more often than they have, the fact that they've managed to improve routes and hit timetables close enough to make pulse scheduling out of the hubs work is miraculous.
Whoa, went to look up a bus schedule on #TulsaTransit and I see they're using #OpenStreetMap now!
