@LArefugee welcome aboard! One thing to know about Mastodon is that the search engine only indexes hashtagged words. So if you posted about, say, the Turf Club, it would only be findable if you posted it as #TurfClub . Also, that is why, if you want people with shared interests to find you, you should include them in your profile, e.g. #minneapolis or #CarletonCollege
