@BigMacAdmin uhm, searching anyway does not give me any result with #Wolly and also with #Tusker โฆ maybe the search works only for people on your same instance?
@weirdwriter @mammoth I'm mainly using #Tusker until #Mona gets the timeline issue where there is a large brake in posts between the current and last time you ran it fixf. They are both wonderful apps.
@mammoth @JPEGuin @shadowfacts @Mastoot
Oh hells bells and belly rubs! (I just thought of that one). Now Iโve got my M2 Mac I can run TestFlight (on M? Apps) so Iโm now running #tusker, #mammoth and #Mastoot on the machine.
Immediate wish lists for each:
Mammoth - allow columns to be deleted or reordered.

Morning fellow Mastonians, hoping you're all fine and dandy.
Masto morning was a bit iffy as the web app seems no to crash out every tine I look to enlarge an image. Meant I lost my overnight timeline position. Grrr. Luckily #Mammoth and #Tusker came to my rescue by holding timeline positions. Phew!
@kellan Okay tests from overnight (last read 15 hours ago) - #Mammoth & #Tusker both held timeline positions fully on Home and Local timelines. #Toot & #Ivory held position on the Home timeline only. #IceCubes didn't hold position on any timelines.
#mammoth #Tusker #toot #ivory #icecubes
Well, I just found out how to follow timelines on other instances with #Tusker. Tap the Explore tab. Navigate to the Remote timelines heading and you will see a button to find a new instance. Press that and enter in a name such as dragonscave.space. You should now see the local timeline for that instance:
In other news, #Tusker for iOS *still* doesnโt even have notifications? Why beta a car without wheels? ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ
Dear #tusker. Go ahead and hold off on releasing any more beta updates until you actually implement working notifications yeah? It's like releasing betas of a car except without wheels.
@JPEGuin Iโve just realised that #mammoth is ignoring any filters Iโve got in place on my account. Iโve got a lot of blocks set up for politics and the toots still show in the timelines. You can see the difference here between #mammoth and #tusker which does hide them. Sorry.
#Mast app for iOS also doesn't support server-reported max char limit. However, #Tusker does! It's currently accessible through the Testflight app. https://testflight.apple.com/join/wtB7HYvG
Trying out the #tusker beta for iOS (Mastodon client). First impressions are really favorable, it actually looks as good as #Metatext to me so far. Will use both side by side and see if either inches ahead. https://testflight.apple.com/join/wtB7HYvG
