Isn't that a case of Fedi folk doing a #Twitter on them?

A friendly advise and request to about 25% of my existing followers & future ones, who likely are #Twittermigrants.

Please at least include a picture and short comment under your bio and post something (not just a re-post).

I didn't follow egghead's on the bird site and won't do it here.

Without any info, you can't expect people to follow you, which in many cases would be a pity.

Remember when we used to get a #failwhale? (I loved it). Seems like the #twittermigrants might be causing same here. I’m sorry.

Once people get past the differences between mastodon and twitter and decide to settle, I think the idea of a peer-connected, volunteer, human-run platform appeals to #twittermigrants rather than another isolated, biz-centric monolith.

Like me, you've probably come here because you want & need something different. My early experience suggests this IS that place.
Content & accounts aren't pushed at you by an algorithm designed to drive up engagement. So, here it is slower, calmer & based on your decisions to gradually build a community.
Basically, you'll need to detox. You may or may not realise it, but that's why you're here, I think. So, let all the crap go. Then go for a walk & enjoy the garden. 🙂
