Though the Mastodon App does a good job it still seems in an early stage, use the website version for full features, including viewing full follower/follower lists as the app only shows a few at the moment.

It's also worthwhile to note that Mastodon uses "The Fediverse" multiple servers on the same network, you only need one account for every server, not multiple ones.

The Fediverse takes some getting used to initially but easy once you understand.

@digiphile I so hope #TwitterRefugee don't ruin #mastodon but I'm already seeing the "raise your hand if you agree" shit-posting and it hurts my head.

I'm still on #Twitter at this point but not posting anything. Highlights of today's feed are misogyny, racism and fat shaming. I like Mastodon more and more each day. I'm not going to pretend it will be completely free of trolls, but so far I've seen nothing.

If I have one criticism of Masto, it's a lack of diversity. Hopefully this will improve over time.
