A few years ago I went on a #typographic walk around #Dublin city centre, looking at the history, and places. The most fascinating area was in #TempleBar, where records of the earliest printers go back to 1500s. Fascinating to see a direct lineage from what I do, back 500 years.
Quite fancied myself in a heavy cloak, held with a chain, sword at my side, walking those same streets in heavy leather boots, with long hair and inky fingers. Dining in taverns and joining secret societies.

This is also cool, and something I'd like to see imported to #Irish #Typographic #design Putting accents on uppercase letters is intrusive, causing the word's outline to become bumpy. The É here has an accent like a cartoon character's head gets a lump after a knock.
Looks like Apeloig type... Maybe?
