@theappletree I get what you are saying, but this conversation is only happening in Ireland now because of the actions of #TyreExtinguishers in recent months. Their action, whether you agree with it or not, has been very effective in moving the conversation forward and shifting public opinion towards the need for action.

More great publicity for #TyreExtinguishers in today's Indo, highlighting the damage that SUVs do to our environment.

One line in particular caught my attention:
“It’s got to the stage where people with big cars are half-expecting it.”

The impact the group has had in such a short time period is remarkable.
