Something smells off here. This is a little too tidy: he's angling for a gig, I think.

But I expect the rug pull (surely that notion is not confined to crypto?) -- long before he gets a teaching post.

The University of Austin is a story of promise and peril. Which is always the case with any great endeavor.

Whether this indeed qualifies as a great endeavor, only time will tell. But if they're as sincere as they seem to be, it's great they're giving it a shot.

Now God knows universities need fixing. And they *are* becoming intellectually intolerant in ways that scare me. But #UATX is a cynical grift whose principles don’t practice what they preach, and it deserves all of the derision it is accruing.
