Gerade auch bei alten, noch klassisch analog gedrehten Filmen kann 4K das Filmgefühl meiner Meinung nach wesentlich verbessern weil auch das #Filmkorn mitdigitalisiert wird.
Auch wenn man an den Indy-Filmen aus heutiger Sicht sicherlich ein paar Dinge kritisieren kann sind es einfach Klassiker der Filmgeschichte.

The tickets are stupid high priced, the snacks have 1000%+ mark up. The staff is apathetic to everything. The spaces smell of stale candy and old butter flavored oil. People are needlessly rude. Cannot pause to piss. Cannot just cuddle with partner or friends in a pile. The grain and often imperfect projection distracts. You have to wear clothing. Cannot bring a pillow or blankets. So many other things.
Sure they have comfy chairs and some of them vibrate. Possibly have accent lights that give dimension to the action. Nothing more. Even the #3D stuff is not as neat as it was when it made a comeback. It was a fun new thing that was not and still is not perfect and hard to watch for the length of a film without eye strain.
So...nearly all are using #HD or #UHD screens and #soundbars with the ability to expand sound around us and most of us have a subwoofer with that. Even have the option for #headphones with even more virtual surround awesome. And... we can pause.
Tell me again why the big screens and foul smells are worth it?

The UHD Mad Max Anthology is currently under £30 on Amazon, get on it Baba! Just re-watched the first and it looked amazing, sadly there was no Dolby Vision but the HDR grade was strong and clarity was on-point. So all in all, an essential release for Cult Film fans!

Thanks to Black Friday I have ordered a brand spanking new LG OLED evo C2 tv to replace it. Sadly, there is neither SCART nor component but instead 4 (4!) HDMI 2.1 inputs. I have no clue how to connect my VHS and LD to this beast in a good fashion. #laserdisc #uhd #bluray #tv

Wenn die Benachrichtigung über neue #Filme von meiner Wunschliste bei den Flatrate-Streamingdiensten ergiebig genug ist, kann ich meine Versand-#Videothek evtl. mal kündigen... (aber nur dann, für 1,50 EUR/Film + 3 EUR Grundgebühr im Monat ist der Postversand perverserweise immer noch billiger als #Streaming im #PayPerView. Und die Qualität ist bei #UHD-#Blurays auch besser.)
