I'm most sorry to hear that the #SCoPEd framework has been adopted by #BACP #UKCP and others. I think it embeds modality politics and further structurally disempowers those already power down in society while providing no benefit for clients.

@jdannan @Ruth_Mottram Aye, that would help. I helped designed the Future Forecast in 2020, set in July 2050 to create a weather "forecast" from #UKCP data. The 30 year period essentially a generational jump (kids are your age, you are your parents age etc) and that resonated with people quite well.

Into Part 5 of the #Introduction and perhaps my favourite piece of work in the #Storyline space. Working with a group in the #OuterHebrides, a set of islands west of Scotland, we worked with a local artist to sonify #UKCP data and overlay local voices so we could communicate the impact of #Winter #Storms now and how they will change in the future. A #PhD in #Palaeocimate at Leeds University, before moving to the British Antarctic Survey for almost 5 years in #Polar climate, looking at #Antarctica and then Iceland-Greenland #SeaIce. Since July 2019 I have been at the Met Office working with the UK Climate Projections #UKCP (or #UKCP18)
