I've been trying to lower myself into listening to the radio.

I don't consume any mainstream media, it's overt and brutal political propaganda is too distasteful to me, but I love music and wanted to catch up on what music younger generations are creating, so I've been listening to the radio.
I have been listening only to small local radio stations because they don't have "news" announcements.

I felt brave so searched for other stations and happened upon a larger regional station and caught the very first part of their "news" before turning it off in disgust.

The very first item was a number of how many #refugees had made a crossing to the UK.
The #ukMedia is pure, racist, fascist adjacent hate and #propaganda. They all disgust me.

There are NO "legal" routes for any #refugees to come here but they didn't mention that for some reason or the fact that the channel is one of the most dangerous seas in the entire world and anyone desperate and courageous enough to attempt that crossing in a flimsy inflatable or decrepit, vastly overloaded boat should be welcomed with open arms.
