The #stratocumulus causing the anticyclonic gloom is finally beginning to break up as Arctic air floods south across the British Isles. It wonβt get as far south as previously modelled, stalling over the English Channel as mild moist air pushes in from the south. Youβve probably heard thereβs an early spring cold snap on the way. Well this time there is! This GEFS ensemble shows a sharp drop in temperature about a mile up on the 5th, which is a good indicator of what will happen lower down. Thereβs also a significant possibility of #uksnow from the 7th-9th especially.
