Dunno what's been wrong with me this afternoon, perhaps a combination of the heat and PMS, but my sense of smell has been weirdly hypersensitive, and usually benign chemical smells have made me want to retch. The winds buffeting us overnight and this morning are surprisingly strong considering the weather forecasts for our way.

Had to send Paul out to dismantle a polyethylene cover greenhouse that had its supports buckle overnight and was threatening to fly loose and terrorise the neighbours and nearby drivers.

(Woke up to the sight of it trying to lift off from the back garden 😬 Paul had to throw on some warmer clothes and dash out quick to deal with it.)
