Talking (Unverified Personal Gnosis) again, which I'm from now on just calling PG (Personal Gnosis).

This is a hot-button issue for some, a contention point at least for others. People really do want to double and triple down on the idea of people not doing or believing things outside of a set spiritual "lore", and to a point? I get that. We don't want to throw discernment out the window, a point I would agree with.

But there's a line, and I see Pagans and Polytheists crossing it, every single day.

If I want dogma, there are plenty of places to get it, and I won't knock it if it's for you -- but honestly for me? I don't need it: I have my Gods, and that is plenty. They and only They, in conjunction with myself, dictate my path.

It all boils down to PG at the end of the day, and you continue to be worthy.

(... but don't try to push your PG on others. That's called being a dick.)

Maybe a weird take, but I think we have to be far more critical with , how its interpreted and especially how we see the gods as personal coaches for our small scaled and highly personal problems. We as individuals are not in the center of their attention. We are collectively part of what they achieve, work through and bestow.

Instead of individualizing the things do for us humans, we should collectivize our view. How they benefit all of us humans daily. Not by how they "work woth us" on body issues or trauma.

The last thing in my view is less any God actively helping but us taking inspiration and motivation from them instead of actively comfirting you or telling you that everything is gonna be all right.

Another thing is . People closely communicate with the gods on an amateur-level. Too many people think their interpretation of any divine epiphany is automatically valid and not like... Based on their own interpretation and biases. The same goes for signs. People become so obsessed with signs, because they are anxious about being on something wrong or simply as a "proove" that the gods would care. And for that, a bunch of crows are serving as that sign and they can continue until the next anxiety attack.

Instead of making the world around them divine by seeing the deeds, the gods do for them, on a daily basis, people are shocked when the gods are not "responding" to their intrusive divination attempts.

And of course it also angers me how it is handled as "normal" to do chat-like conversations with Gods like Loki, Freyja and whonot is currently "In".

Phew.

Take what you want out of it.

Man nothing raises a Red Flag in the than when someone directly contradicts the based on because "nobody ever thought to ask". You're gonna tell me that these beings have been stated to be incredibly close for hundreds of years, been summoned together in ritual for hundreds of years, and in that time have never set the record straight? Rather, *you* and only you have this lore-breaking notion that these entities do not work together based on nothing more than a conversation you claim to have had with them where you thought to ask about this relationship that's been verified through interaction for hundreds of years and were told "Actually I hate that guy, other entities spoke for me".

Nah, man. You were suss before, but now I know you're just winging it.

Sekhmet-Nebtuu is an interesting mix I have gotten to know over the years. The squish is very healing and very growth oriented but also.. a Star Lion.
"Did you say a star lion, like there is more than one?"
YES.
The concept of cosmic lion (cow, cobra, jackal, hawk, bull...) is a very old, primordial concept of many deities. Many of the ancient Egyptian deities have a cosmic form or celestial connection. They are very big, nearly abstract forms that can be difficult to grasp in their entirety of both time and scope. Not only that, they can nearly squish into each other like a weird psychedelic Picasso painting.
The ancient Egyptian deities are very fluid. If they can sit, they can fit. What I mean by that is that if they can suit themselves into a situation, doing the job or task set before them, they will. It won't matter what labels or focuses we think about them, they are the liquid that fills any container. Sekhmet helps you study for exams? no problem! Set helps with your child care responsibilities? Great, he loves kids (they are lil' balls of chaos after all)! There is no pigeon holing deities. Especially since they'll just melt into something else and seep out the bottom of whatever box you try to put them in.

Well, this started out well and has spiraled into a strange end. None the less, its entertaining. And probably a sign of how exhausted, burnt out, and wound up I am. Oh well. The end is in sight for all this crazy. until then... :D
